Who Are We

ABOUT AIDS INFORMATION CENTRE

Founded in 1990, the AIDS Information Centre – Uganda (AIC) operates 8 regional centers, providing comprehensive HIV services across the country. Services include testing, treatment, and community outreach, with a focus on strengthening healthcare systems and prevention efforts. AIC collaborates closely with healthcare facilities, offering capacity-building support to healthcare workers and promoting HIV prevention through community mobilization and outreach activities.
Additionally, AIC conducts HIV testing outreaches targeting Most At Risk Persons (MARPS), ensuring integrated and comprehensive management of HIV/AIDS throughout Uganda.
